Inn & Estate seeks to provide its guests with an
unparalleled dining experience.
The quality of produce, both cultivated and foraged,
found outside the back door of the kitchen provides
Chef Tarver King and his team with pristine ingredients
that make up a meal representative of this place in
every moment of each season.
The dining experience is structured as a multicourse
menu with each course building on the previous, ultimately
providing diners with a symphony of tastes. Familiar
flavor combinations are given a thoughtful, progressive
and at times whimsical treatment aiming to delight more
than just the palate with each bite. All the senses
are engaged through the use of pure flavors, color,
texture and aroma.
Complementing the farm-based focus of the dining experience,
Sommelier Neal Wavra offers wine selections from grower
producers-from farmers that make wine that reflects
a place, their place.
While the most pristine fresh ingredient is found closest
to the kitchen harvested moments before its preparation,
wine is a preserved item and therefore can travel and
still maintain quality. Believing that wine paired well
with food creates a synergy greater than either the
wine or the food by itself. Custom pairings are available
upon request. For guests desiring to choose for themselves,
the wines offered at Goodstone represent the vast and
varied viticultural regions of the globe and the many
stylistic options available today.
