Biography

Brian Crook is the General Manager of The Goodstone Inn and Estate, a luxury country Inn located in Middleburg, Virginia. Mr. Crook assumed this position in the fall of 2005. He came to The Goodstone Inn with over 20 years of experience managing high end properties in the United Kingdom and Bermuda.

As General Manager, Mr. Crook oversees the entire operation of the 17-guestroom luxury inn, which is composed of five unique buildings offering top-drawer lodging accommodations; the new high-end restaurant, Hilltoppers; an elegant new wine cellar; facilities for corporate and social retreats; and 265 acres of grounds, gardens and agricultural lands.

Prior to this appointment, Mr. Crook was General Manager at Horizons & Cottages, a Relais & Chateaux property located in Bermuda. He assumed this position in 1998 having previously been the Resident Manager at its sister property, The Coral Beach and Tennis Club of Bermuda.

Earlier in his career, Brian Crook worked for De Vere Hotels in the UK as General Manager. He trained at the world famous Savoy Hotel in London, where he held the position of Trainee Manager from 1977 to 1981.

Originally from Manchester in Northwest England, Brian Crook is a graduate of Westminster College located in London.
