Overlooking Goose Creek with magnificent views of the Blue Ridge Mountains, the dining room seats 30 guests and offers an intimate setting with floor-to- ceiling palladium windows handcrafted to replicate the original windows in the existing carriage house. The floor is 200-year old restored antique heart pine from an old cotton mill in the South.

The Carriage House great room, adjacent to the restaurant, serves wine and cocktails before and after dinner in a comfortable and elegant setting. Tea is served daily, and the picturesque stone fireplace is well tended during the colder
months.

MENU:
The imaginative epicurean menu is American fare inspired by Executive Chef William Walden's world travels and love of other cultures. Sample wine from the expansive wine cellar, which features more than 100 wines from all over the world, including fabulous selections from the Virginia wine country. The menu changes seasonally, and regularly within the season dependent on availability of ingredients.

FARM TO TABLE:
Goodstone Inn and Estate has made a commitment to using local, seasonal and sustainable grown food from the property grounds as well as from local vendors. The Goodstone maintains a vegetable, herb and cutting garden from where the Restaurant gets its freshest ingredients. The property also boasts a growing orchard including apple and pear trees. Chef Walden uses fresh eggs from the farm hen house daily, and has wonderful local organic and humane vendors for his lamb and chicken.

RESERVATIONS/HOURS OF OPERATION:
Dinner is served five nights a week, Wednesday through Sunday evenings from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. Dress code is smart casual, no jeans or sneakers. Reservations are required.

THE WINE CELLAR/PRIVATE PARTIES:

You will dine amongst some of our most prized possessions: more than 100 wines (1,500 bottles) from all over the world.
