The heart of our wellness experience is staying right where it belongs. When we reopen, Brian Courtney — renowned massage therapist and partner provider for Goodstone Inn & Restaurant — will be here to welcome you back.
With over a decade of expertise, Brian is celebrated for his work with discerning guests and illustrious clients alike. As a founding team member at Salamander Resort, he helped shape their world-class wellness offerings. He's also the creator of the acclaimed Riders Relief Massage, a signature technique crafted especially for equestrians.
His mastery has been recognized in publications like The Washington Post, DC Magazine, and Vogue, and sought after by high-profile individuals including former First Lady Michelle Obama.
A graduate of the Virginia School of Massage Therapy, Brian is known for his meticulous attention to detail, intuitive healing touch, and unwavering commitment to personalized care. Each session offers not just physical relief, but the soothing promise of elevated well-being.

Our Cancellation Policy
At Goodstone Spa, we understand that sometimes plans change. To ensure we can accommodate all our guests, we have a clear cancellation policy. We kindly request that you provide at least 24 hours' notice if you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment. This allows us to offer the appointment slot to another guest. Cancellations made less than 24 hours before the scheduled appointment time will forfeit your full payment for the booked service. We appreciate your understanding and cooperation. This policy helps us provide the best possible service to all of our valued guests. If you need to change your booking, please contact us directly.
